Today (10.3.2007) Adastra begun recording their debut album "The Last Sunset" at Studio Dauntless with Santeri Salmi. Read the studio diary.

ADASTRA SIGNED TO VIOLENT JOURNEY RECORDS

Groundbreaking news: Adastra has signed a record deal with Violent Journey Records (FI). The bands starts to record it's debut album "The Last Sunset" on 10.3.2007 at Studio Dauntless.
The tracklisting includes "old" favourites and a bunch of unheard songs. The tracklisting follows (may still change):

1. Visions of Armageddon *
2. Lady Pain
3. Fight Against Time
4. This Life **
5. Stood my Ground **
6. Get back to the ring
7. Loving me to Death
8. Adastra
9. The Sun **

Current knowledge of the release date doesn't exist, but March is definitely being spent on the recording process. Santeri Salmi (Dauntless) will mix the album.
All songs written and arranged by Anttila, except *; written and arranged by Anttila, Hartman and **;written by Anttila and arranged by Adastra.
The album's distribution will be handled by Firebox Records.

As of 8.1.2007, Jussi has been serving his country in the military at Vekaranjärvi. This means that the year 2007 will be a bit calmer with Adastra. Gigs will pe played nevertheless.
Adastra's first gig of 2007 is at restaurant Onnenpäivät 2.2.2007, Nummela. Tickets 5 € (including all entrance fees). Address is Vihdintie 2.
